Roles and Responsibilities / Profile Details:
• Works with customers in assigned customer portfolio to receive payments. Resolves customer A/R differences to the satisfaction of our customers. Uses good business judgment in working with/through other employees including Sales to achieve results.
• Prepare, verify, and process invoices for sales or services rendered
• Collect on accounts by sending invoice reminders and communicate with customers via phone, email, standard reminders set on accounting software.
• Post customer payments by recording checks, and NEFT transactions and entering them into accounting/ subscription billing software
• Update receivables by totalling unpaid invoices
• Reconcile the accounts receivable ledger to ensure that all payments are accounted for and properly posted
• Verify the validity of account discrepancies by obtaining and investigating information from sales, customer support departments and customers
• Generate Daily, monthly, quarterly or annual reports detailing paid and unpaid invoices and other accounts receivable activity
